A MISSING schoolgirl from Stamford Bridge has been found safe and well, police say.
Kiera Meldrum was reported missing on Monday, October 20.
The 15-year-old girl had made contact with her family via text messages, but officers were concerned for her safety because of her age and the length of time she had been missing.
This morning, a North Yorkshire Police spokeswoman said she had been found on Friday night.
She said: "Missing Kiera Meldrum, 15, was found safe and well last night in York."
