THE senior management team behind Hull's year in the spotlight as the UK City of Culture 2017 is currently being assembled.
With Martin Green appointed as chief executive, he is working closely with chairman Rosie Millard and her recently announced board to fill a number of key roles.
The post of director of communications and marketing was advertised earlier this month on what was described as a "competitive" salary.
In addition, two new executive producer posts were advertised this week.
Mr Green said finding the right people for those roles is crucial.
"We are looking for a whirlwind to come in and blow us away with dazzling ideas and exceptional flair," he said. "We will know who they are when we meet them.
"Quietly persuasive or fizzing with energy, our executive producers will have one big thing in common: the power to produce great art for the widest possible range of people to make our City of Culture vision a reality.
"They will be as suited to developing world- class artistic partnerships as they are engaging people from all the community to draw together everyone who wants to be involved in Hull's year as UK City of Culture."
