HULL RUFC coach Martin Webdale believes his side's attack will click into gear soon and he hopes it will happen against Caldy at Chanterlands Avenue tomorrow.
Webdale's side are third from bottom in National League Two North with just two wins from their seven matches played so far.
They are also the only side in the league yet to pick up a bonus point, much to the frustration of Webdale.
But the Hull coach is confident of putting that right against a Caldy side that has won three of their last four games.
"It is frustrating not to have picked up a bonus point this far into the season," Webdale told the Mail.
"We will definitely click soon. We look good going forward out of our own half, but when we get to the opposition's 22, we fail to convert.
"We have been working on our conversion rate in training and hopefully it will show against Caldy.
"I have already seen an improvement in training and now it's a case of executing better and making better decisions.
"We have been in all our games this season and it's the little decisions we need to do better with.
"We know we must capitalise on the good possession we have."
Both of Hull's wins have come away from home, at Preston on the opening day of the season and at Luctonians at the start of October.
Webdale wants his players to make the most of their home advantage and give fans something to cheer.
"Hopefully our first home win will come tomorrow," Webdale said.
"We have to make it more difficult for opposing teams coming to Chanterlands Avenue.
"There is a lot of travelling in this league which makes it difficult to pick up away wins.
"The players aren't downhearted about the start we have made to the season because we know it only takes one or two things to go our way and we'll be all right."
Hull go into the game having lost their last two against Stourbridge and Huddersfield to drop into the relegation places.
Webdale knows Caldy will be difficult to beat as they look to make it four wins from five.
"Caldy are a good side and we will have to be at our best," Webdale said.
"They like to attack and we have to be careful not to fall into the trap of giving them cheap possession.
"I'm as confident as I am going into every game.
"Preparations have gone well so far this week thanks to our link-up with Hull University.
"It's something we hope to develop by providing coaches to them and hopefully pick up a player from them."
Webdale will be without Tomasi Tanumi and winger Jesse Bright who are sidelined with knee injuries. But hooker Jonny Matthews is scheduled to return this weekend.
