TOMORROW'S derby may only be a friendly, but for Omari Caro it will still be the biggest crowd he's played in front of.
Having cut his teeth in the capital, Caro is not exactly used to being in the rugby league spotlight.
But, as the winger is finding out fast, life at the London Broncos is a lot different to being at Hull KR.
"I was in Asda after training the other day and I was wearing my training gear when a lady told me that no matter what I do, we have to beat the Black and Whites," Caro told the Mail.
"That brought it home to me how much the people of Hull love their rugby.
"There is only one true derby in rugby league and I'm excited to get the chance to be involved in it.
"There were 14,000 fans at the pre-season derby last season and if they get near to that figure tomorrow, it'll be the biggest crowd I've played in front of."
With just 12 outings under his belt in the past two seasons, Caro is still learning his Super League trade.
Featuring in the friendly at Gateshead and against a youthful Wigan side, the 21-year-old has performed well in both games.
Last week's clash at MS3 Craven Park saw him score two tries in the Robins' 32-10 win, with both coming courtesy of good work by promising young centre Liam Salter.
The first came after he took Salter's pass to sprint clear of the chasing Wigan defenders from the halfway line.
The second was a lot closer as the winger went over from 10 metres out.
But he also showed his football skills by taking both conversions, scoring one and hitting the post with the second.
Keen to secure the right wing spot for the opening few weeks of the new campaign, when Craig Hall looks set to be deployed at stand-off, the winger would love nothing more than to score against Hull tomorrow.
"It would be a great bonus to score," Caro said.
"As a winger, you always want to score tries and I was glad to score twice against Wigan last weekend.
"I'd like to think those are the sort of tries KR fans can expect to see from me this season.
"I didn't score against Gateshead but that game was more about blowing away a few of the cobwebs from pre-season.
"I want to score in every game I play. If I play 30 games, I'll want to score 30 tries and if I play 10 games I expect to score 10 tries.
"There are five or six really good wingers at the club who are looking for the two wing spots for the Catalan game.
"If Craig Hall is used at stand-off, then that gives me a chance to secure my place in the team.
"I want people to be fighting to get my place in the team off me."
Having moved out of London for the first time in his life, the Hammersmith-born pace ace is settling in to life up north.
He is enjoying the move to a city where the sport dominates the sports pages, unlike in London, and the transition has been made a lot easier thanks to the support of his new team-mates.
"I thought it would be a lot more difficult than it turned out to be," said Caro, who scored against KR in London's final game of last season.
"It has been a lot easier because of the players at this club.
"I was brought up in London all my life and moving away from home was new.
"But I have made some great friends at this club which has made things a lot easier."
