Hull court listings: Find out who has been sentenced (October 21, 2014)

An update of people convicted and sentenced in the courts in Hull and the East Riding.

Ashley Irvin, 23, of Rustenberg Street, east Hull, was ordered to carry out 120 hours of unpaid work for assaulting a police officer and a woman. He was also ordered to comply with a supervision requirement and pay £85 costs and a £60 victim surcharge.

Elaine Kinsley, 44, of Beckside Close, north Hull, was absolutely discharged for being drunk and disorderly.

Steven Love, 31, of Middleton Street, west Hull, was ordered to complete the Building Better Relationships Programme for contacting a woman he was banned from speaking to via Facebook. He was also fined £40 and ordered to pay £85 costs and a £40 victim surcharge.

Daniel McDougall, 30, of Hodder Grove, east Hull, was fined £110 for using abusive and threatening words or behaviour likely to cause alarm and distress. He was also ordered to pay £85 costs and a £20 victim surcharge.

Samuel New, 21, of Washington Street, west Hull, was given a 12-month supervision requirement for handling a stolen HTC mobile phone. He was also fined £40 and ordered to pay a £60 victim surcharge.

David Peel, 40, of Inglemire Lane, north Hull, was ordered to complete a drug rehabilitation programme for stealing meat worth £100 from Co-operative Retail Services Ltd, £165 of toiletries from Sainsbury's and £48 of confectionery from Tesco. He was also ordered to pay £248 compensation.

Matthew Sainsbury, 26, of Brevere Road, Hedon, was given a 12-week prison sentence, suspended for 12 months, for using threatening and abusive language and behaviour towards three police officers and being drunk and disorderly. He was also ordered to pay £85 costs and an £80 victim surcharge.

Ricky Jordan, 19, of Netherton Road, west Hull, was absolutely discharged for riding a bicycle while drunk.

Michael Shepherd, 20, Spring Bank, west Hull, was condition-ally discharged for 12 months for stealing £20 of Pokemon cards from Tesco. He was ordered to pay £85 costs and a £15 victim surcharge.
