A man has admitted stabbing a labourer in Beverley Road.
Wojciech Wyrozebski, 33, pleaded guilty to causing grievous bodily harm with intent and assaulting a person occasioning actual bodily harm, at Hull Crown Court today.
His victim, a 36-year-old man suffered a serious abdominal wound in the attack on September 30 after he asked him to get off some scaffolding on the side of the building.
The stabbing led to a stand-off with armed police and a city-wide manhunt after Wyrozebski fled the scene.
Wyrozebski, a Polish national, has been remanded in custody and will be sentenced on November 12.
The stabbing came just three days after a 17-year-old boy was stabbed in the neck with a pair of scissors by a stranger close to the junction of Strand Close in Beverley Road.
