CCTV: Man wanted over Hull train station taxi rank assault that left victim with broken bones

British Transport Police have released a CCTV image of man they are trying to trace after a serious assault at Paragon train station in Hull. A 56-year-old man suffered a broken arm, shoulder and wrist in the attack, after he challenged a man who attempted to jump the queue for a taxi. Detective constable Lee Parsons said: "After he challenged the man about his behaviour, the victim was thrown to the floor and assaulted, leaving him with a broken arm, shoulder and wrist. "He is in extreme pain and is currently waiting for an operation to insert metal plates and pins into his upper body. "If you recognise the man pictured we would like to hear from you. We would also like to speak to anyone who may have been at the station or waiting in the taxi queue and who may have witnessed the incident." The assault happened on Saturday, September 13, at 11.45pm. Anyone with information is asked to contact British Transport Police on 0800 40 50 40, or text 61016, quoting reference PSUB/B11 of September 29. Information can also be passed anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
