Our daily blog with the latest news, transfer rumours and gossip about Hull City in the Premier League.
The question on the lips of every Hull City fan currently must be – can Andy Robertson's performances get any better?
Well, the young Scot shone for his national side last night on debut as Gordon Strachan's side managed to overcome Georgia 1-0 in their Euro 2016 qualifier.
The gaffer hailed the show-stopping performance from the 20-year-old Tiger, after watching him set the Premier League alight in its early stages.
"Look, the whole team did well, but to play the way Andy did was outstanding," Strachan said after Robertson's pin-point cross set up the winning goal for the Scots – coming from Akaki Khubutia's deflected own-goal.
Team-mate Steven Naismith also noted: "Andy is probably ahead of where he might have expected, but he has a great future with Scotland."
The headlines could've been even greater for Robertson, had a couple of early crosses targeting Steven Fletcher had come off.
However, the youngster was delighted with his showing on a special night at Ibrox.
"All this is a dream come true," he told the Sunday Express.
"The gaffer told me just to play my normal game beforehand and I just tried to do that."

Praise has also arrived from the pundits, too.Sky Sports presenter David Jones said: "Andy Robertson's confidence must be soaring after that 90 minutes." Rangers striker Kenny Miller also praised the qualities Steve Bruce clearly saw in the £2.85m man. "We knew what he could bring to the team and it was no surprise to see him perform the way he did," Miller said. "He loves getting forward, he defends well, and his quality from the wider area into the box is second to none. "The deliveries he puts in are always whipped, always on the money. They're into the area where they should be and it gives the striker a chance to go and attack it. Former Scotland winger Neil McCann also had high hopes for Robertson: "He was allowed to go forward tonight, which was great from Gordon Strachan that he's been given the confidence as a young man coming into the national game. Andy was sensational."Hoddle leads calls for Huddlestone England role After seeing England canter to a 5-0 win over minnows San Marino in midweek, the call for Tom Huddlestone to be reintroduced into the Three Lions set-up rose once again. And former boss at the national side, Glenn Hoddle, was the leading voice to see the Tigers midfielder back in with a shout of extending his England caps. Hoddle believes Huddlestone could be the perfect player to thrive under Roy Hodgson's system and be used as a holding midfielder. "Roy has settled on the diamond formation as one way of playing and, as such, that needs a good holding player," Hoddle told the Daily Mail "Jack Wilshere did do really well there on Thursday night, though it is difficult to judge against San Marino when you have so much time on the ball. It is not his natural game. "On Thursday night, both Ian Wright and I came up with the name of Tom Huddlestone as an alternative. He is not currently in favour. He has just four caps and has been used only once by Roy, as a substitute in a friendly against Sweden. "As a sitting player, there are few Englishmen who can match Huddlestone. He does that job of screening the back four and he has a range of passing that few can match."Sagbo undergoing 'experiment' at WolvesYannick Sagbo is undergoing some kind of experiment whilst on loan at Wolves, according to boss Kenny Jackett. The Ivory Coast international is on loan from the Tigers at Molineux and Wolves want to see the striker in a more central role. "(I'm) really experimenting and moving it around because he's got some physical strength and he can be a handful. So it will be interesting now over the international break how he gets on in training," Jackett told the Birmingham Mail. "He needs plenty of 11-a-side work every day to make sure he gets to know our system and how we play. "We're going to try to get him to play right him up there, running in behind to stretch the back four. I don't think he's for the wide areas, but I see him in one of the two central positions in the striking department."Bellerin must make voice heard – Mertesacker It's just six days until the Premier League returns – not long, City fans! And before the Tigers' trip to the Emirates on Saturday, Per Mertesacker has told Arsenal youngster Hector Bellerin not to be afraid of making his voice heard. The 19-year-old is set to start for the Gunners at right-back in the absence of injured duo Mathieu Debuchy and Mathieu Flamini and the suspended Calum Chambers. Mertesacker believes the former Barcelona youngster has what it takes to make the step up. "He's a good addition to our squad and he can take his chance with Mathieu injured and Calum suspended," the German told Arsenal Player. "It's tough to establish yourself as a young player at Arsenal as a lot of the positions have two players in, so it's hard for the youngsters to impress in regular games. "But we have to rely on our reserve players and it's good to get a good relationship with them and try to give them some help. The most vital part is good communication on the pitch - they have to talk to me if there's someone in my back.Tigers youths impress against Mansfield And finally, Hull City's under-18s made light work of Mansfield Town after securing a 4-1 victory in the Football League Youth Alliance - North East Division. The young Tigers led 3-1 at the break which set the platform for the success. Harvey Rodgers struck first for City after just eight minutes, before Jarrod Bowen doubled the lead after a quarter of an hour. Mansfield pulled one back two minutes later through Anthony Dwyer, but Devonte Morton's goal just after the half hour mark set the marker. Bowen's brace came five minutes before the end to round off a successful afternoon at Bishop Burton.
