HULL City look set to miss out on signing Fraizer Campbell for a third time, with the Sunderland striker seemingly set for a move to Cardiff City.
The striker is believed to have held talks with the Bluebirds' manager Malky Mackay last night, and his Black Cats team-mate Matt Kilgallon today tweeted him suggesting a deal was done.
City twice missed out on signing Campbell in their Premier League days, firstly when he was loaned to Tottenham from Manchester United, and then when Steve Bruce took him to the Stadium of Light.
Bruce has openly admitted his interest in bringing Campbell to the KC, and despite the players' father Keith, who also acts as his agent, saying a return to Hull would be of interest, he now looks set to join the Championship leaders..
Sunderland defender Kilgallon posted a good luck message on his Instagram account, today, after Campbell had apparently left a picture of himself on Kilgallon's kit.
The message read: "Cheers for the present Fraz left on my kit...Good luck at Cardiff pal."
