CONSIDERING a calf injury cut short his game, Fallowfield did enough to impress during a tough afternoon for the Tigers.
City were under pressure from the first whistle but once they found their rhythm, through Fallowfield and midfield partner Max Clark, combinations began to come to fruition and the visitors created chances.
Not afraid to go after balls in near dead situations, Fallowfield took a few batterings for his desire to get on the ball.
A lovely passage of play saw City become patient when chasing an equaliser in the second half, before a nasty tackle curtailed Fallowfield's involvement with just over a third of the game to go.
Whilst it remains to be seen how long the midfielder will be absent for, manager Tony Pennock will hope it's only a niggle and Fallowfield gets back on that pitch as soon as possible.Johan Ter Horst
ON his comeback from a hamstring problem, the pint-sized forward grew in stature throughout his 78-minute showing in the North East.
Trying to get the better of Boro's tall defence was always going to be a daunting task, but Ter Horst gave it his all, even though the home side won possession nine times out of ten.
His potential is clear to see when on the ball, with a devastating turn of pace and awareness to pick out his fellow strikers and wide men evident.
With a decent amount of minutes in the bag, it will only do his confidence the world of good as he looks to find the willpower to edge forward into the box more, something which was a little lacking.
But make no mistake, Ter Horst is one to watch, even if the ball did not fall kindly for him on this occasion.
