HDM Sport on Facebook AUSTRALIAN international goalkeeper Matt Ryan has today been linked with a move to Hull City following an impressive spell of form in the Belgium top flight. Currently plying his trade for Club Brugge, the 22-year-old is being tipped for a move to a bigger club after previously learning his trade at A-League side Central Coast Mariners. A host of European scouts have been checking out Ryan, according to clubcall.com, and will monitor him closely in the forthcoming Asia Cup. Arnar Gretarsson, Brugge's former sporting director, believes he is destined for the Premier League. "I don't see him staying for much longer at Club Brugge. I think he will move to a bigger team, possibly for next season," he said. "I know he would like to go to the Premier League, everybody wants to play in that league but I could also see him in the Primera Division or the Bundesliga. He definitely has the quality to play in the big three leagues." City were prviously linked with the shot-stopper when he played Down Under, with Bruce admitting his interest in the then 20-year-old. But nothing came of it eventually, despite talk of a three-year deal being tabled, and he ended up moving to Brugge.Maguire linked with Latics loan WIGAN are again being linked with a loan swoop for Hull City defender Harry Maguire in today's national media. The Latics are said to be keen to take him to the DW Stadium until January, according to the Daily Star. The move follows reported interest from Birmingham City yesterday, having seen Maguire fail to play many top-flight minutes since his £2.5m switch from Sheffield United. Whilst the prospect of a temporary switch seems a likely one, City would probably want a loan fee from the side he joined if he was to stay for the rest of the season.Dawson outshines Tottenham duo MICHAEL Dawson may have made a rocky start to his Hull City career, but having settled in his performances are now near to the bar he set in his spell at Tottenham. Now the £3.5m signing is reported to be outperforming his former Spurs team-mates Jan Vertongen and Younes Kaboul in a number of key areas. According to hitc.com, the centre-back has made considerably more outfield blocks, clearances won more aerial duels than both Kaboul and Vertonghen. In fact, Kaboul has only performed better in one key area, making more interceptions per match than his former team-mate. Want to see the in-depth analysis? Read it here
