IT'S a cheeky, self-mocking statement designed to promote Hull's status as UK City of Culture 2017.
Unfortunately, it seems others are jumping on the bandwagon and copying a T-shirt that states: "Come to Hull. It's Not S*** Anymore."
Now, the T-shirt's designer – who only wants to be known by his creative name "Snapper" – has hit out at "morally bankrupt" copycats.
He said: "It's pretty upsetting to be honest. It's just me, in my bedroom, spending hours packing T-shirts into boxes and someone has come along and stolen my idea."
University of Hull illustration graduate Snapper, who is originally from Newcastle, but now resides in the Avenues, west Hull, hit on the idea for the T-shirts in June.
So far, he has sold about 300 via his Somethingentirelydifferent.com website.
"Hull has always had a bit of a reputation," said 26-year-old Snapper. "But things are changing with City of Culture.
"I believe the T-shirt spotlights Hull's self-mocking sense of humour. It is really appealing to people here.
"People of all ages are wearing them, from teenagers to people in their 60s."
Snapper has taken to Facebook to urge people to buy the original T-shirt, which can only be bought online for £12.99.
His Facebook page, A Different Hull, shows a photograph of a model wearing an original T-shirt, next to a photograph of a paler- coloured fake.
Snapper tells potential customers: "One of these is a creative property made specifically to fund publication, promotion and platforms for Hull-based creative talent.
"One of them is a morally bankrupt soul, cashing in on another individual's fun, without putting in any of the hard work or time.
"You can join the hundreds of lovely, lovely people who already own the original by purchasing one here."
Snapper says he understands the fakes are being sold in independent shops across Hull.
"The sad fact is, we can't afford to print enough of these to sell them through a physical presence," he said.
"Recently, I've donated some to The Warren, as raffle prizes for charity fundraisers, but other than those, you can't get them anywhere other than the site."
Snapper's online following have been quick to support the original T-shirt.
Holly Marshall said: "Yours are way better, anyway."
