An update of people convicted and sentenced in the courts in Hull and the East Riding.Carolyn Hughes, 45, of Kimmeridge Close, Bransholme, must comply with a two-year supervision order for persistently using a public electronic communications network to cause annoyance, inconvenience, or anxiety to another. She was fined £110 for assaulting a police officer in the execution of her duty and must pay £110 costs and a £60 surcharge.Richard Kemp 69, of East View, Vicarage Lane, Skirlaugh, was fined £132 and had three points put on his licence for using a handheld mobile phone while driving. He must pay £85 costs and a £20 surcharge.Lukasz Adamski, 28, received a 16-week prison sentence, suspended for 12 months, must do 250 hours of unpaid work, and was banned from driving for three years for two drink-driving offences. He must pay £85 costs and an £80 surcharge.David Atkinson, 30, of Bainton Grove, north Hull, received a 16-week prison sentence, suspended for two years, for two counts of assault by beating; destroying a hairdryer, shoes, clothing, a television, a photo frame and a bank card; and stealing clothing, perfume, cash, a mobile phone and CDs. He was also made subject to a two-year restraining order and must undergo drug rehabilitation and attend 24 sessions of a Building Better Relationships course.Liam Allison, 25, of Beeford Grove, west Hull, must pay £50 compensation for stealing meat and cheese from Sainsbury's.Meridijus Bagdonas, 29, of Kimmeridge Close, Bransholme, was fined £200 for driving without a licence. He must pay £85 costs and a £20 surcharge.David Blakemore, 23, of Steynburg Street, east Hull, was fined £600 and had six points put on his licence for driving without insurance. He was fined £200 for driving without a licence and must pay £85 costs and a £60 surcharge.Neil Richardson, 21, of Benedict Road, west Hull, was fined £70 for cycling on a pavement and cycling without lights. He must pay £85 costs and a £20 surcharge.
