FOLLOWING Hull City's thrilling 2-2 draw with West Ham last night, attentions now turn to Hull City's trip to Newcastle United on Saturday afternoon. And talk has already begun with the speculation of Alan Pardew's departure from the Magpies.Mirror columnist Dave Kidd believes the Toon boss must come out fighting at the weekend – or face even more wrath from his own supporters and media alike. "They say that if you attempt to neuter a footballer who has a fiery temperament, you will lose the essence of a man – and the same may be true for managers," wrote Kidd. "Since Alan Pardew nutted Hull's David Meyler during a 4-1 away win on March 1, his Newcastle team have won two and lost 10 of their 14 matches. Pardew appears to have given up the ghost, cowering from fans and media during and after Saturday's 4-0 hammering at Southampton. "So there is only one thing for it – Pardew must come out fighting. Newcastle's next opponents? You guessed it, Hull." Tim Sherwood and Fabricio Coloccini are the two latest names linked for the Newcastle hot-seat by the Guardian.MNF offering comes as early warning to Newcastle IT'S fair to say the Magpies were ripped into on Monday Night Football last night, with Sky pundit Jamie Carragher branding the Newcastle players a 'disgrace'. Reviewing the Magpies' lowly 4-0 loss to Southampton and speaking to a live studio audience, the former Liverpool player said: "There's lots of talk about Alan Pardew. Forget about him for a minute. Some of those players are a disgrace. You want to see a bit of graft, a bit of heart and intensity. For Newcastle to be seen like this is a disgrace." And Chronicle reporter Lee Ryder says the offering from the Tigers – Newcastle's next opponents – must come as an early warning for the weekend. "Last night's TV offering should have come with a warning sign: 'If you're a Newcastle United fan look away now'" he wrote. "Hatem Ben Arfa was back in football on the Premier League stage and wearing the No 34 shirt for Hull City. "He didn't do too much, with eight touches, a couple of dribbles and even making a couple of fouls. "But for those Toon fans who never wanted him to leave, seeing Ben Arfa playing for Hull was bad enough. "United's loss is Hull's gain. Thankfully, Premier League rules mean Ben Arfa can't rub further salt into the wounds on Saturday when Hull visit Tyneside."Aarons ruled out for Tigers visit MEANWHILE, early team news has leaked from Newcastle's camp ahead of Saturday's trip up to Tyneside after teenage whizzkid Rolando Aarons was ruled out for six weeks. Scans on a hamstring injury are worse than first thought and Alan Pardew has been dealt with a bitter blow in his hopes for Newcastle's first win of the Premier League campaign.Paper round-up IF you haven't had the chance to have a flick of the papers this morning, here's a handy round-up of the headlines from last night's 2-2 draw with West Ham.MIRROR: A nice little Enner - Sam's new buy starts to repay his £12m feeYORKSHIRE POST: Passions run high as Tigers unearth two gemsSUN: Diame Barmy/Half a Mo! - Diame comes back to haunt SamTIMES: Davies own goal undoes the good work of new boysTELEGRAPH: Latin influence lights up KC in lively stalemateINDEPENDENT: Hernandez and Valencia promise stunning returnsDAILY MAIL: Davies slip pulls West Ham out of the fireGUARDIAN: Hernandez makes mark but error lets West Ham off the hookSTAR: Tigers ready 'n Abel / Abel's Hull of a strike Meanwhile, a nice re-cap from Eurosport blogger Desmond Kane, who said: "Hull against West Ham on a Monday night at the KC Stadium does not sound appealing, but these were heady happenings. "Superior entertainment all round. After the first 30 minutes of sterile slodge, the next 60 were as exciting as you will witness this week. It was as engaging as the Champions League, but it is perhaps little wonder. "Both clubs have had a 90-minute makeover. You can see where the money has gone. "One recalls interviewing Phil Brown about landing Jimmy Bullard a season after Dean Windass's goal against Bristol City sealed promotion to the Premier League from the 2008 Championship play-off final. It feels so long ago, one wonders if it was broadcast by British Pathe. "Changed days on Humberside, sorry East Yorkshire." You can read the full column here.Could Tom Huddlestone oust Jack Wilshere in England squad? ENGLAND dreams still live in the mind of Tom Huddlestone, and if some of the national writers are backing the Tigers midfielder to win a Three Lions recall, he might have a decent shout.Daily Mail writer Adrian Durham says Huddlestone would be a perfect fit for England's diamond formation, partnering West Ham's Mark Noble and Ashley Westwood. And could he even oust Jack Wilshere from the line-up? "Huddlestone's not the toughest tackler, and he's not the quickest, but his reading of the game suggests he could anticipate the play so well he wouldn't need to rely on speed or last-gasp challenges," Durham wrote. "One significant aspect of his game is his ability to ping a pass 40 or 50 yards to a lone striker to relieve any pressure. He can do that with accuracy and that is something England haven't always had. "I've always had concerns about Huddlestone's lack of mobility. His former team-mate Danny Murphy pointed out to me that neither Andrea Pirlo nor Xabi Alonso are renowned for their running, and in England's qualification group we won't need to do a huge amount of defending so why not have a look at what Tom Huddlestone can do? "We have been crying out for years for footballers with technical ability – Huddlestone has it in abundance. "He could challenge Jack Wilshere for that place in the starting line-up in my opinion."
