James Millar, 31, of Newtown Court, east Hull, was jailed for 26 weeks for stealing chicken thighs and fillets, worth £19.98, from One Stop shop, stealing lead flashing, worth £1,000, from The Boathouse Café in Flamborough, and stealing two jars of coffee, worth £10, from the Co-operative Group.
Reginald Glew, 71, of Park Avenue, west Hull, was jailed for 32 weeks for breaching a restraining order and breaching a suspended sentence.
Barry Andrews, 67, of Barnsley Street, east Hull, was discharged conditionally for six months for using threatening words or behaviour. He must pay £620 costs and a £15 surcharge.
Nichola Howson, 36, of James Reckitt Avenue, east Hull, received a 20-week prison sentence, suspended for 12 months, for stealing five packs of cheddar cheese, worth £17.50, from Asda, and breaching a suspended sentence. She must pay £17.50 compensation and an £80 surcharge.
Matthew McTurk, 27, of Manvers Street, west Hull, received a 12-week prison sentence, suspended for 12 months, for stealing five DVDs, worth £63, from Tesco. He must pay £85 costs and an £80 surcharge.
Steven Brown, 50, of Bathurst Street, west Hull, was discharged conditionally for 12 months for stealing meat worth £40.75 from an Iceland store, and failing to surrender to custody. He must pay a £15 surcharge.
Malcolm Storey, 48, of Adelaide Street, west Hull, received a 12-week prison sentence, suspended for 12 months, for stealing two crates of beer, worth £20, from Tesco Express. He must pay a victim surcharge of £80.
