Double Olympic champion Mo Farah is set to headline next year's Yorkshire International Business convention.
The sporting legend will take the stage at The Spa in Bridlington to share his stories of success and tell the audience what the future holds.
The 10,000m and 5,000m world champion is being interviewed on stage before taking questions from the floor.
Convention founder Mike Firth sees it as a major coup for the organisation, which in the past has featured a host of famous faces, including Hilary Clinton.
He said: "We're delighted we've got Mo signed up – it's going to be great.
"Here we have an absolutely world-class athlete, top in his distances. He's an absolutely fantastic character."
Mr Farah was born in Somalia but grew up in London.
At the convention, which will take place on Friday, June 5, he is expected to talk about his life in the run-up to Olympic glory.
Mr Firth said: "It's going to be an interview-style piece, so we're just lining somebody up to interview him.
"He will also do a Q&A with the audience.
"He's got a really interesting life story. It wasn't the easiest of upbringings, so we're going to bring some of that in."
Other speakers for the show have yet to be announced but Mr Firth is excited about the line-up.
With about 300 tickets sold, The Spa is already half-full for 2015.
He said: "What we've always tried to do is not give business lectures, but get inspirational figures in.
"We're expecting to sell more tickets on the back of this.
"He's an inspirational figure and a lovely man."
Last year's convention was headlined by heavyweight statesman FW de Klerk.
The last president of apartheid South Africa, he shared a Nobel Peace Prize with Nelson Mandela.
Mr de Klerk was joined by top BBC business journalist Steph McGovern, entrepreneur Dave Fishwick and former land speed record holder Richard Noble.
It was a sellout and organisers are hoping for a repeat performance next year.
Mr Firth said: "We strive to attract some of the best speakers from across the globe each year, and 2015 will be no different.
"We are delighted with the continued and ever growing support the convention receives from the region's business community and we are grateful to every sponsor and delegate."
