HULL City target Abel Hernandez has arrived at the club's Cottingham training ground as a deal to sign the Uruguay forward moves a significant step closer.
The Tigers are hoping to complete a reported £10m deal for the 24-year-old Palermo forward.
Having flown in from Italy this morning with his representatives, Hernandez is understood to be at the club's training ground to undertake a medical and finalise the details of his contract.
City boss Steve Bruce this morning told the Mail he was "very close" to finalising a move for a striker, with Hernandez his man having moved on from Jordan Rhodes after that deal collapsed.
A deal for Hernandez will break City's transfer record once again and comes less than 24 hours after the capture of Michael Dawson from Tottenham Hotspur.
Earlier today Hernandez was pictured by an Italian correspondent for Sky Sports departing for England in a private jet.

Hernandez was then pictured at City's training ground at Cottingham at 1.30pm today.
Among the first fans to meet him were Charlie Bentham, 6, from West Hull who had been watching the training with dad Mark.
Mark said: "Charlie thought it was amazing, he was well impressed with his 'coolness'."![]()
