A young man who was stabbed in broad daylight in a Bransholme street remains in a serious condition in hospital today.
The 25-year-old was attacked in Tenterden Close, just after 4pm on Monday afternoon.Police have arrested a 23-year-old man.
Officers say they are not looking for anyone else in what they are describing as a "contained incident".
A police cordon was lifted this morning, but detectives were continuing to gather statements from witnesses today.
