Matty Davies has been named as Hull Stingrays captain for the 2014-15 Elite League season. The 24-year-old Hull-born forward is the team's longest-serving player, having first joined the club in 2009. He was unveiled at today's official shirt launch, held at the Old Grey Mare in Cottingham Road. Player-coach Omar Pacha said: "I'm a first year guy as coach and I am privileged to have Matty as my team captain." Davies' assistants have not been chosen and will be selected once the full team has arrived in Britain for pre-season training which begins this week. New Sales and Marketing Manager Kurtis Dulle and new keeper David Brown were also introduced to fans at the Rapid Solicitors Stingrays shirt launch, together with the club's British contingent of Tom Ralph, Sam Towner, Scott Robson and Jamie Chilcott.
