Hull KR were denied their 100th Super League win when Josh Charnley scored a try with just two seconds remaining to snatch a draw for Wigan.
Charnley's try made it 14-14 with Matty Smith's conversion to come, but he failed with his kick leaving both sides with a point.
Dan Sarginson opened the scoring in the second minute with Smith missing that conversion too.
Craig Hall's unconverted try made it 4-4 in the 20th minute but they went in at half-time 10-4 up thanks to Jason Chan's second try in two games. Travis Burns converted.
Ben Cockayne slid over in the left hand corner to extend the lead to 14-4 with another conversion missed.
But the Warriors finished strongly with two tries in the final eight minutes. Sean O'Loughlin's unconverted try made it 14-10 as Rovers tried to hang on to the win.
And with timing running out, Charnley struck against the team who he scored five tries in five games for while on loan back in 2010.
Rovers would have taken a point before the game but leading by 10 with eight minutes to play, the two points should have been theirs.
