A man who was arrested after a woman was found with serious head injuries has been released unconditionally.
The woman from Goole is today recovering in Hull Royal Infirmary.
Police said they have now confirmed there were no suspicious circumstances surrounding her injuries.
Officers had been called to Broadway in the early hours of Tuesday morning, where they discovered the injured woman in a critical condition.
The 37-year-old man, who was also found at the address, was arrested on suspicion of assault and taken to a police station in Scunthorpe.
Today Humberside Police have confirmed they are not investigating further after confirming that there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding the woman's injuries.
