A MAN has been charged with the murder of a Bridlington landlady.
John Heald, 53, has been charged with murdering Bei Carter at the Morayland Hotel on Friday, July 18.
He has also been charged with ten rapes in South Yorkshire on Monday, July 13.
Police arrested Mr Heald last Friday in the Parkgate area of Rotherham.
Adrienne Gower, senior district crown prosecutor for CPS Yorkshire and Humberside, said: "The Crown Prosecution Service has been working closely with Humberside Police in connection with this case.
"Having carefully considered all of the evidence presented to us, we have concluded there is sufficient evidence to charge John Heald with ten offences of rape in South Yorkshire on 13 July 2014 and the murder of Bei Carter in Bridlington on 18 July 2014."
