Hull City have officially confirmed the double signing of defenders Andrew Robertson and Harry Maguire, having finally completed their paperwork on their three-year deals.
Robertson has joined from Dundee United for an initial fee of £2.85m, with the option of extending the deal by another year.
Maguire has penned a similar deal, moving from Sheffield United for a figure of £2.5m and there is also a one-year option in his contract.
Having only been a part-time player for Queen's Park just two seasons ago, Robertson is taking the next step in what has been a rapid rise to the English top flight.
The 20-year-old said: "You dream of playing in a league like this and the quicker I can get started, the better.
"This is perfect club for me to take the next step. I'm really looking forward to it."
Maguire is also well aware of the challenge which will await him when he makes the leap from League One to the Premier League.
But the 21-year-old, who is keen to let his football do the talking, has plenty of confidence in his own ability.
"It's taken a bit longer than I wanted, but as soon as I knew Hull were interested it was a no-brainer really," he said.
"I'm only 21, but I've played a lot of games already and hopefully I can fight my way into the first team and play regularly."
The Tigers have also confirmed that youngster Conor Townsend is heading to Dundee United on a season-long loan, as a direct replacement for Robertson.
The move to the SPL will be a step up in class for the home-grown left-back, who has previously been farmed out to Grimsby, Chesterfield and Carlisle.
