Hull City are currently putting Andrew Robertson and Harry Maguire through medicals as they close in on deals for the defensive duo.
Robertson, 20, arrived in East Yorkshire from Scotland yesterday and has spent today finalising the finer details of his £2m move from Dundee United.
Having seen Sheffield United 'reluctantly accept' a bid for Maguire this morning, the 21-year-old has also been undergoing a medical in the region today.
The centre-back's signing would mark a swift resolution to a transfer saga which has now dragged on for a number of weeks.
City officials remain 'hopeful' there will be no unforeseen problems and that both deals can be formally announced tomorrow or later this evening.
