An update of people convicted and sentenced in the courts in Hull and the East Riding.Keith Dobson, 58, of Glencoe Street, west Hull, was conditionally discharged for two years for assaulting Janice Horner by beating her. He was ordered to pay £85 costs and a £15 victim surcharge.Andrew Dolman, 32, of Emerald Grove, west Hull, was conditionally discharged for two years for stealing coffee worth £150 from Tesco. He was ordered to pay a £15 victim surcharge.Sean Korevaar, 46, of St James Road, Bridlington, was fined £75 for stealing four cans of cider and a litre of milk worth £5.99 from Tesco. He was ordered to pay £85 costs and a £20 victim surcharge.Janet Walker, 53, of Thornton Road, Bridlington, was disqualified from driving for three years and ordered to carry out a six-month alcohol dependency program for driving while over the drink-drive limit. She was ordered to pay £85 costs and a £60 victim surcharge.Carl Handley, 30, of Bracken Road, Driffield, was ordered to complete 120 hours of unpaid work for five counts of fraud by using a credit card that did not belong to him and false representation. There was also a charge of theft. He was ordered to pay £85 costs, a £60 victim surcharge and £186.91 compensation.Carl Balmforth, 27, of North Bar Without, Beverley, was disqualified from driving for 18 months for driving while over the legal drink-drive limit. He was also fined £375 and ordered to pay £85 costs and a £37 victim surcharge.Sean Cousins, 44, of Harpham, Driffield, was fined £100 for dishonestly undertaking or assisting in the retention, removal, disposal or realisation of clothing worth £153, belonging to Boyes Store, which was stolen. He was ordered to pay £85 costs and a £20 victim surcharge.
