THE SUNNY weather is expected to continue into the weekend. The Met Office says temperatures across Hull and East Yorkshire are expected to reach 24 degrees Celsius on Saturday. However, people are advised to make the most of the sunny weather on Saturday with rain forecast for early Sunday. Thankfully, the rain is expected to clear by 10am on with sunny spells and light winds for the rest of the day. Temperatures are expected to reach 21 degrees Celsius. The UV rating for the weekend is a high 6 (out of 7) but the pollen count is moderate. If you're out and about, Sunday and Monday will be noticeably cooler than recent days, with a mix of bright or sunny spells and showers. Tuesday is forecast to be largely dry dry with variable cloud and some sunny spells. A Met Office spokesman said: "On the whole it is quite a nice weekend for people living in Hull and East Yorkshire." Lifeguards have already issued a warning to people heading for East Coast beaches to stay safe after a series of rescues this week. Aaron Miles, senior lifeguard at Bridlington North Beach, said thousands are flocking to the beaches to enjoy the sunshine. He said: "People need to beware of getting out of their depth in the sea. "It's also important to check the wind direction because inflatables can be blown out quite far in a matter of seconds. "When the sun is out, people also need to remember to use sunscreen and wear a hat to avoid sunburn."
