Our daily blog with the latest news, transfer rumours and gossip about Hull City in the Premier League.Hull City line up fifth bid for Andy Robertson If at first you don't succeed, try and try again. That mantra applies to Hull City's chase of Andy Robertson after Dundee United turned down a FOURTH bid for the gifted young left-back. That's according to the Dundee Courier, who say Steve Bruce is not taking no for answer. City began the bidding at £1.5m at the start of the month and that has now climbed to £2.5m. That is still not enough for the SPL side to do business but they are already bracing themselves for a fifth offer as City circle the defender who was voted Scottish football's Young Player of the Season in 2013/14.The Sun have chimed in with a suggestion that West Ham United remain a competitor for Robertson, but the signing of Aaron Cresswell from Ipswich this month would question the likelihood of that story. Steve Bruce: Hands off Curtis DaviesCurtis Davies got another 45 minutes under his belt in a 2-0 win at York last night and Steve Bruce says there will be many more to come in City colours. Bruce has responded to the suggestion that Davies is an £8m target for Crystal Palace by insisting that Davies will not be going anywhere this summer. The Sun claims that the Tigers captain tops a transfer wish-list of Palace boss Tony Pulis, while Everton, Newcastle and Sunderland are also monitoring the situation. All four of those Premier League clubs are set to be disappointed, however, with Bruce saying: "Curtis won't be going anywhere. He'll be with us when the season gets under way, that's for sure." Pulis is also reported to be keeping an eye on Jean-Armel Kana-Biyik, a player linked with City in recent days. Bruce played down reports of his interest but Palace are on the Rennes defender's trail with the potential for a £5m deal.Morgan Amalfitano to Crystal Palace? Meanwhile, Palace are making headlines with the anticipated signing of former City loan star Fraizer Campbell today, and Tony Pulis could be about to land another prominent figure on the Tigers' rumourmill. Since making an enquiry for playmaker Morgan Amalfitano 12 months ago, during a window in which the Frenchman eventually opted for West Brom, City have been incessantly linked with the 29-year-old. QPR and Sunderland are also said to be in the mix, but the Sun says that Crystal Palace are leading the chase. City's interest would appear to be lukewarm at best given the positions Bruce has said he wants to strengthen, but a £2m bid from Palace could finally bring an end to the speculation surrounding Amalfitano. Can FK Vojvodina shock AS Trencin to win Hull City prize? And finally, City supporters will have one eye on the Serbian city of Novi Sad this evening. That is where FK Vojvodina will host Slovakian outfit AS Trencin in the second qualifying round of the Europa League, with the winners of the tie facing Steve Bruce's men a week today. A 4-0 advantage held by Trencin makes them red-hot favourites to progress to the next round of qualifying and only an improbable comeback from the Serbians can throw City's travel plans up in the air. Bold supporters who have already booked trips to Slovakia next week will certainly have everything crossed that there are no Trencin slip-ups. Kick-off is at 7pm UK time.
