POLICE in London are appealing to Hull City fans to help identify two men suspected of a serious assault.
The attack, which police are treating as grievous bodily harm, happened in Islington in the early hours of May 18.
Thousands of Tigers fans were in the capital ahead of the FA Cup final.
The assault took place at 2.05am on May 18 in Essex Road.
Officers from the Metropolitan Police do not believe Hull City fans were involved, but hope they may have information about who the two men caught on CCTV were.
Detective Constable Faye Callaghan, from Islington CID, said: "We are keen to speak with the men pictured as they may be able to help us with our enquiries.
"I urge members of the community to come forward if they have any information with regards to the incident to help us catch those responsible."
