The team at RSPB Bempton Cliffs will be taking part in the National Whale and Dolphin Watch – the largest survey of its kind in Britain.
The spotters will be in position from Saturday, July 26, to Sunday, August 3.
The data collected during the nationwide event will help provide a snapshot of the distribution of dolphins, whales and porpoises around the UK.
Bempton Cliffs is a prime location for spotters as it gives panoramic views over the North Sea. Ryan Chenery, volunteer development officer on the reserve, said: "Every day there will be a volunteer on each of our five viewing platforms dedicated to searching the sea for dolphins and other cetaceans.
"We will also have a whale and dolphin hub set up on the reserve where visitors can discover more about how cetaceans communicate, socialise and raise a family."
Last year's visitors were treated to numerous sightings from Bempton Cliffs, including three minke whales.
Survey's organiser The Seawatch Foundation has already recorded the season's first bottlenose dolphins along the Yorkshire coast.
