Hull KR have signed Huddersfield Giants forward Jason Chan on loan until the end of the season.
The 30-year-old has a chance of featuring for the Robins on Sunday when they take on Salford Red Devils at the KC Lightstream Stadium.
The Papua New Guinea forward trained with his new team-mates this morning after making 15 appearances for the Giants this season.
The decision to bring Chan in suggests Rhys Lovegrove is struggling with the concussion he suffered at Leeds on Friday night.
Chris Chester is delighted to have Chan's experience as his side press for the play-offs.
"We are delighted to welcome Jason to the club until the end of the season," Chester said.
"We are looking forward to seeing him pull on the Rovers shirt.
"We've got one or two injuries in the pack at the moment so to bring in such a quality player at this stage of the year is a real bonus for the club.
"I'd like to thank Huddersfield for their co-operation in allowing Jason to go out on loan and we are excited to have him on board."
