Travellers have set up moved on to a site off Gorton Road, near Haltemprice Leisure Centre in Anlaby.
About 10 trailers are parked on the site.
East Riding Council officials are to visit the travellers today.
Should they not move on, notices will be served and officials will move them through a legal route.
