THOUSANDS of women united in the fight against cancer to complete Race For Life for charitythis morning.
Women walked, jogged and ran the 5km course through Hull city centre.
Some even brought their babies and pets along to the annual fundraiser in aid of Cancer Research UK.
It is estimated the 3,700 women who took part collectively raised around £160,000 for the charity.
Toni Rennison was pushing her two-year-old son, Matthew-John Hemmingway, in a pram around the course.
She said: "This is such an emotional event. My auntie suffered from cancer. We are here today in a bid to put cancer to an end."
Lord Mayor, Councillor Mary Glew, said: "I am privileged to be here today with thousands of women in our united fight against cancer.
"Yet again, Hull women are inspiring the country."
Emma Colbourne, event manager, said: "This has been a wonderful day. We have smashed our target of 3,400 participants. I would now urge everyone to send in their sponsor money."
