Hull KR lifted the doom and gloom at the KC Lightstream Stadium with an emphatic 40-10 win over Super League leaders St Helens.
Rovers outplayed and out enthused their opponents right from the first whistle to the final hooter as Chris Chester started his caretaker reign with a deserved win.
Omari Caro opened the scoring in the sixth minute before Mark Percival cancelled that out five minutes later.
Omari Caro and Craig Hall scored to give the Robins a 14-4 lead before Mase Masoe scored to make it 14-10 at the break.
The second half belonged to Rovers with 26 unanswered points. It could and should have been more had Travis Burns not missed four conversions.
Graeme Horne started the second half scoring before Caro and Hall completed their hat-tricks. Greg Eden capped an impressive performance with the game's final try which Burns converted to seal a 40-10 win.
