Hull KR testimonial man Jason Netherton highlights the threat of Danny Brough and tells why he'll be proud to wear a military shirt IT WAS good to get back to winning ways last Friday against Bradford after a couple of very disappointing defeats.

It was a very important game for both teams, given that the Bulls had just sacked their coach and needed to win to help avoid relegation.

We also needed to keep in touch with the top eight.

It wasn't a very pretty game, but we were professional enough to get the job done and score a few points too.

Looking ahead to tomorrow, and it's the start of a tough run of games against teams above us in the league.

Huddersfield didn't start the season very well but have hit some form lately and will be coming into the game with confidence.

They're a big team with some very skilful outside-backs, and of course the best kicker in the league in Danny Brough, so we will have to perform at our best to get the vital two league points tomorrow night.I can't wait to wear military shirt WE'RE all looking forward to playing in our specially commissioned military kit tomorrow night against Huddersfield to celebrate British Military Day, and raising some money for our brave soldiers in the process.

It's often said about sportsmen and women being heroes, but when you think of the job these guys do, it's quite clear who the real heroes are.

We all, as a nation, owe our military a huge debt of gratitude, and this game will hopefully go a small way to showing that.

We're hoping for a big crowd, so if you can, then get down to the KC Lightstream Stadium and cheer us on.

What a fix! I'D like to thank everyone who came to my testimonial curry night on Monday.

It was a great night hosted by Craig Murdock, and with a good feed too.

The winners, though, were the team on chairman Neil Hudgell's table! What a fix!Travis and Nev's Origin defeat THERE was a bit of banter in our changing rooms last week as New South Wales won the second State Of Origin game, and with it, the series.

Neville Costigan and Travis Burns are from Queensland, and weren't happy to be beaten.

The NSW victory probably helped the concept as it seemed to be becoming a bit stale, with the Maroons winning every year.

The passion is back in the Blues fans now, and it's definitely the end of an era and the start of a new one for the Origin series.
