Stephen Nightingdale, 35, of no fixed abode, has been accused of four burglaries in the city, an aggravated burglary in Walkington and burglaries in North Ferriby and Hornsea.

He is accused of taking car keys from five of the houses and stealing the vehicles.

All of the offences are said to have happened between June 8 and June 20.

Lee Taylor, 23, of Granville Avenue, west Hull, has also been charged with aggravated burglary in connection with the break-in in Walkington and another burglary.

John Fairburn, 33, of Valiant Drive, east Hull, has been charged with driving a motor vehicle that had been taken without consent.

A 28-year-old woman was also arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply a class A drug, handling stolen goods and five burglaries. She has been released on bail.

All three men have appeared at Hull Magistrates Court and were remanded in custody. Mr Nightingdale and Mr Taylor will appear at Hull Crown Court next week, while Mr Fairburn will appear before magistrates again today.
