An update of people convicted and sentenced in the courts in Hull and the East Riding.Troy Allen, 23, of Kings Leigh, west Hull, was discharged conditionally for 12 months for stealing a washing machine belonging to Hunters Lettings. He must pay £85 costs and a £15 victim surcharge.Scott Brown, 38, of Jetcourt, Orchard Park, was discharged conditionally for 12 months for stealing nine frozen legs of lamb, worth £89.55, from Farmfoods Ltd. He must pay £89.55 compensation, £85 costs and a £15 victim surcharge.Lee Dodson, 37, of Blaycourt, Orchard Park, was fined £320 for dishonestly receiving stolen goods, namely an Apple iPad belonging to Humberside Police, and a Paslode nail gun, worth £500, belonging to a person. He must pay £85 costs and a £20 victim surcharge.Adam Harrington, 34, of Catherine McAuley Close, west Hull, was fined £480 and banned from driving for 18 months for drink-driving, and driving without insurance. There was no separate penalty for driving without a licence. He must pay £85 costs and a £24 victim surcharge.Carl Harrison, 25, of Innescourt, Orchard Park, will be supervised for 12 months and must pay £230 compensation for stealing four one-gallon drums of cooking oil, several joints of meat, several packs of bacon and nine jars of Nescafé coffee from Farmfoods. He must pay a £60 surcharge.Peter Drabble, 52, of St Leonard's Close, Beeford, near Driffield, was fined £270 for carrying a load of scrap metal, which was not secured, and driving without a seatbelt. He must pay £85 costs and a £20 victim surcharge.Stephen Wallis, 35, of Main Road, Bilton, was fined £400 and had six points put on his licence for driving without insurance. He must pay £85 costs and a £40 victim surcharge.
