HULL City look set to splash out on Norwich star Robert Snodgrass, with the Sunday People reporting that a fee of £5m plus bonuses will be offered. The Canaries are aiming for a bumper post-relegation pay-out for the Scotland winger and Steve Bruce wants to bolster his Europa League-bound squad Snodgrass, 26, has just one year left on his contract with the Canaries, but they are still demanding £6.5m from the Tigers for the winger. Norwich want as much cash up front as possible for Snodgrass to fund a new bid for Blackburn's prolific striker Jordan Rhodes - the number one target of Carrow Road manager Neil Adams.West Brom target double City swoop WEST Brom boss Alan Irvine expects to land Jack Rodwell this week to complete a double swoop on Manchester City, following their signing of Tigers target Joleon Lescott. Both Newcastle and Rodwell's former club Everton are also interested but Irvine is confident of sealing a loan deal. He said: "I know Jack really well. He started training with the first team at Everton as a 16-year-old. "He has had some injury problems but he was a Rolls Royce as a kid. City bought him for a huge amount of money so I can't imagine he would be available for a small fee." Rodwell joined City for £12million two years ago but has only made seven Premier League starts. City striker Stevan Jovetic, 24 – signed from Fiorentina for £22m – has been linked with Inter Milan but he said: "I am not thinking of leaving."Lescott reveals the Irvine factor was key to signing for Baggies FINALLY, whilst we're on the subject of Lescott, West Brom have given their first interview with their new signing. "Working with Alan and knowing how he works from Everton, at the time I hadn't played left-back and he took the time out to guide me and help me out in any way I needed," Lescott said. "I was reluctant to play at left-back but I knew I was doing a job for the team and Alan helped me with that. "We've stayed in contact throughout the time we haven't worked together. "And Keith Downing, I've known for years, he was my youth-team manager and has been a massive influence on my career. "Again, I've spoken to him throughout my career and whenever I've needed advice I'll give him a text or a call. "They're people I admire in the game. "Also Rob Kelly was my youth development officer at Wolves when I first started off. "Knowing them all has made the decision a little bit easier while the location also helps. It all just fell into place nicely." See the full interview below.
