A 14-year-old girl was taken to hospital after a tree branch smashed through the window of the bus she was travelling on.
The crash happened near to Newland School for Girls in Cottingham Road, west Hull.
The teenager suffered an injury to her eye when the Volvo double decker bus struck the tree.
The girl was taken to Hull Royal Infirmary for treatment and later discharged.
Any witnesses to the crash which happened shortly after 3.30pm yesterday, are asked to call police on 101 quoting log number 408 of June 19.
