A woman on a mobility scooter was struck by a car in a hit-and-run on a pedestrian crossing in Goodhart Road, Bransholme.
It happened when the car overtook another vehicle, which had stopped to let the woman cross, outside the North Point Shopping Centre.
She suffered arm, leg and neck injuries and was treated at the Bransholme minor injury clinic.
Police have today launched an appeal to find the driver of the car. Officers also want to speak to witnesses who stopped to help the woman after the crash, which happened between 10am and 11am on June 10.
The car was dark blue, with a male driver and female passenger.
A spokeswoman for Humberside Police said: "Police would now like to speak to those people who assisted the woman to ascertain the circumstances and to obtain information which might lead to the tracing of the driver of the blue car."
Call police on 101.
