HARRY and Amelia were the most popular baby names in Yorkshire and the Humber in 2012, new statistics have revealed.
A total of 752 mums in the region called their baby boys Harry, followed by 675 who chose the name Jack and 675 who picked Oliver.
The names Jacob, Charlie, Mohammed and Riley also featured in the top 10 list.
A total of 743 mums in Yorkshire and the Humber called their baby Amelia, followed by 445 who chose the name Olivia and 404 who chose Emily.
The names Lily, Jessica, Ruby and Ava also featured in the top 10.
The figures were released today by the Office for National Statistics.
