A DRIVER has been arrested after a motorcyclist was killed in a crash at a crossroads on the B1253.
Paul Ella, 53, died after the accident with a Toyota Avensis at the junction for Butterwick and Langtoft on Friday.
The driver of the Avensis, a 69-year-old man, was arrested and has been released on bail.
A 95-year-old woman, who was in the back seat of the Avensis, suffered a broken collarbone. The driver and a front-seat passenger suffered minor injuries.
Mr Ella, from Malton in North Yorkshire, was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash, which happened at 2.45pm.
Police said he had been riding a Ducatti Panigale eastbound along the B1253. The Avensis was travelling northbound along Butterwick Road when the accident happened.
Officers are appealing for any witnesses to call Humberside Police on 101.
