Hull City fans have voted going 2-0 up in the FA Cup final defeat by Arsenal as their most memorable moment of last season.

In a poll on the Mail's website last week, 48 per cent of the voters selected the first eight minutes at Wembley as the pick of 2013-14.

Following James Chester's opener after just four minutes, Curtis Davies stunned Arsenal by adding a second, before it all ended in tears after extra-time.

A first-ever victory over Liverpool in December clinched 18 per cent of the vote, following goals from Jake Livermore, David Meyler and a Martin Skrtel own-goal.

Not to out-do their final appearance, the Tigers' victory over Sheffield United in the semi-final gained 10 per cent of the votes.

A pulsating 5-3 victory first saw City behind at half-time before a revival kick-started by substitute Matty Fryatt in the second half.

The Tigers biggest Premier League victory, a 6-0 hammering of Fulham at the KC, scooped nine per cent of votes, with Huddlestone's chopped locks celebration in the same game getting two per cent.

Six per cent of voters thought the tug of war over the 'We Are Hull City' banner in the 1-0 defeat by Crystal Palace at the KC Stadium was the most memorable moment.

Sone Aluko's breathtaking volley at Newcastle also gained two per cent of all votes cast.
