GREG Eden has been recalled by Hull KR after Ben Cockayne was ruled out for up to 10 weeks with a knee injury.
Cockayne injured his knee in the 54-12 defeat at Castleford on Sunday but it was hoped the injury to the full-back wasn't serious.
However, scans reveal the damage was worse than first thought and the England Knights player is now out for over two months.
Eden, who joined Salford Red Devils days after Rovers lost 37-24 at Catalan Dragons on Easter Monday, has now been brought back to provide cover.
Cockayne's injury is the latest to hit the club this week after second rowers Kevin Larroyer and Jordan Cox were sidelined for around six weeks with broken ankles. Centre Sean Gleeson also announced his retirement because of an eye injury.
