Donny have set an asking price of £1m on the defender amid interest from Premier League and Championship clubs, according to The Sun. The Tigers, along with Wigan Athletic and Wolverhampton Wanderers, have previously been said to be the front runners in the race for the full-back's services. Husband, 20, has made 54 appearances so far for Doncaster and was previously part of Leeds United's academy. He has been first choice left-back at the Keepmoat Stadium this season, following the departure of Tommy Spurr to Blackburn Rovers last summer. However, matches for Husband this season have been limited due to injury. Rovers were relegated to League One on the last day of the season and are looking to assemble a squad which will bounce back at the first attempt, with Husband a player they want to keep a tight hold of.Campbell's clause is met as Leicester prepare talks IT looks as though Fraizer Campbell's unlikely reunion with Hull City has flittered away after reports that newly-promoted Leicester City met an £800,000 release clause in the strikers' contract with Cardiff City. The 26-year-old, who will hold talks with the Midlands club, scored six league goals last season but was unable to prevent the Bluebirds' relegation from the Premier League. Campbell scored 15 goals in 34 appearances in Black and Amber, and was rumoured to be on the radar for Steve Bruce as he looks to bolster his striking options for a second top flight season. However, attentions will now turn elsewhere for the Tigers, with City looking to add a striker should Matty Fryatt not put pen to paper and Nick Proschwitz find another club.Giaccherini staying put at Sunderland, and Black Cats target Williams ANOTHER reported Tigers target, Sunderland's Emanuele Giaccherini will snub a move to reported suitors Napoli because they cannot afford him. The Black Cats winger, who is said to earn £50,000-a-week, told The Sun: "I'm staying. I don't know if Napoli could pay me what I earn here." City are unlikely to come in with an offer for the wingman, but Sunderland are still keen to add to their squad.Gus Poyet's men have enquired about Swansea defender Ashley Williams, according to the Daily Mail.QPR remain the preferred destination for the Wales centre-back, 29, who has one year left on his contract and are favourites for his signature. City expressed an interest, but the Swans have already opened talks over a new deal. Daws could be Scunny's assistantSCUNTHORPE United manager Russ Wilcox has admitted player-coach and former Tigers legend Andy Dawson is in his thoughts as he looks to appoint a new No.2 at the Iron. Wilcox will discuss the role with the ex-full-back, but is in no rush to announce a replacement for Tony Daws, who will revert to his role as head of the club's Academy. Dawson, who is currently away on a UEFA A Licence coaching course, has a big future at Glanford Park according to Wilcox and he certainly seems keen to retain the services of the 35-year-old, who is out of contract this summer. "It's a discussion I'll have to have to have with Andy before anything goes to press," Wilcox told the Scunthorpe Telegraph. "But the one thing I will say about Andy is that he's going to be a big part of the future of Scunthorpe United. "Everybody can see how committed he has been, whether he's been on the pitch with the lads or at the side with me and Tony. "I know exactly how he has felt (as a player-coach), because I had that role myself. It's a really difficult one because you're trying to wear two hats and sometimes it feels like you've got three or four on. "But he couldn't have wished for it to go any better. He helped us get promoted."Marney looks to emulate former club in top flight AND finally, former Tigers midfielder Dean Marney is out to emulate his ex-club and prosper in the Premier League with Burnley. Marney – signed from Spurs by Phil Parkinson in 2006 – helped the Tigers reach the top flight for the first time in their history back in 2008, playing for two top flight seasons before relegation. He was snapped up by Brian Laws after 125 appearances for the Tigers, and, after four seasons with Burnley, can again look forward to a return to the promised land after winning finishing as Championship runners-up. "I know a few people at Hull still, and they've spent a lot of money, but hopefully we can do as well as they have," Marney told the Burnley Express. "Obviously it's been a great season, but it's all done now so we'll look forward to next season. "We go up another level so it's obviously going to be a lot tougher, and I'll do the same again, work as hard as I can and see what happens."
