An update of people convicted and sentenced in the courts in Hull and the East Riding.Carl Chalmers, 37, of Cleeve Drive, Bransholme, was discharged conditionally for 12 months for damaging a front door and a washing machine. He must pay £900 compensation, £85 costs and a £15 victim surcharge.Kim Cox, 31, of Balmoral Avenue, west Hull, was fined £110 and ordered to pay £100 compensation causing £100 of damage to a television. She must also pay £250 compensation for damaging five panes of glass belonging to Doorstep of Hull, plus £85 costs and a £20 victim surcharge.Richard Gere, 45, of Axminster Close, Bransholme, was fined £110 and banned from driving for 40 months for drink-driving. He must pay £85 costs and a £20 victim surcharge.Kenny Harding, 25, of Kinloss Garth, Bransholme, was fined £77 for using threatening words or behaviour.Beverley Smith, 47, of Bernadette Avenue, west Hull, was discharged conditionally for 12 months for being drunk and disorderly. She was fined £50 for two breaches of a conditional discharge and must pay £50 costs and a £15 victim surcharge.Adam Watson, 23, of Easedale Avenue, east Hull, was discharged conditionally for 12 months for stealing two bottles of cider, worth £4.58, from One Stop shop. He was fined £110 for driving without insurance. There was no separate penalty for failing to report an accident to police. He must pay £50 costs and a £20 surcharge.Thomas Wright, 29, of William Booth House, Hessle Road, west Hull, was discharged conditionally for 12 months for stealing beauty products, worth £43.44, from Boots the Chemist. He must pay £50 costs and a £15 victim surcharge.Jonathan Batte, 38, of Swainby Close, east Hull, was fined £600 and had six points put on his licence for driving without insurance. He must pay £85 costs and a £60 surcharge.Wayne Baxter, 37, of Thorgill Grove, west Hull, was fined £37 and had three points put on his licence for driving without due care and attention.
