Hull KR coach Craig Sandercock admitted there were "no positives" to come out of his side's 54-12 defeat at Castleford Tigers. Rovers were out-classed in every area as Castleford's free-flowing rugby led to an 11-try romp. With his side trailing 28-0 at the half-time break, Rovers did manage to grab second-half tries from Travis Burns and Wayne Ulugia. But the match was already over as a contest following a hat-trick from Luke Dorn, with other tries coming from Michael Channing, Grant Millington, Kirk Dixon, Jamie Ellis, former Robins centre Jake Webster, Craig Huby and James Clare. Sandercock paid tribute to the Tigers, whilst admitting his huge disappointment with Rovers' performance, which was not helped by the second-half dismissal of Michael Weyman for dissent. "There are no positives," he said. "That first 20 minutes we needed a lot better. We got too frustrated and went off our game-plan. "We paid the ultimate price and full credit to Cas - they were red hot. Everything they did turned to gold and that is why they are up at the top of the ladder." Cas coach Daryl Powell was obviously delighted with his players, who have moved to within two points of top spot in Super League. "I thought we played really well in the first 40 minutes," he said. "We've had some really good halves of rugby league this season, but obviously to nil a team like Hull KR is a great effort defensively. "With the ball we just look so vibrant at times. When we open our game up, we come up with some special things, so obviously delighted to get the win. "Overall I thought it was a fantastic effort by a group of blokes who were really committed, enthusiastic and determined in everything that they were doing." KR duo Kevin Larroyer and Jordan Cox, who left the field nursing what appeared to be serious ankle injuries in the first half, will undergo scans tomorrow to determined how long they will be on the sidelines.
