An update of people convicted and sentenced in the courts in Hull and the East Riding.Shane Atkinson, 43, of Louis Street, west Hull, was given a 12-month conditional discharge for attempting to steal lead flashing belonging to PPH Commercial Properties. He was also ordered to pay £85 costs and a £15 victim surcharge.Desmond Edwards, 47, of Dairycoates Avenue, west Hull, was given an absolute discharge for stealing a pram wheel, worth £30, belonging to Silver Cross in Prospect Street, Hull. He was also ordered to pay £30 compensation.Karl Holdstock, 40, of Blandford Close, Bransholme, was given a two-year conditional discharge for stealing after-shave, worth £126.54, from Debenhams. He was also ordered to pay £85 costs and a £15 victim surcharge.Daniel Jenkins, 26, of New George Street, west Hull, was given a 12-month conditional discharge for damaging a bedroom wall and lock to the front door of a property. He was also ordered to pay £75 compensation, £85 costs and a £15 victim surcharge.Vincent Lyons, 27, of Cornwall Street, east Hull, was given a 12-month conditional discharge for being in possession of cannabis. He was also ordered to pay £85 costs and a £15 victim surcharge.Daniel Newlove, 23, of Dalwood Close, Bransholme, was fined £75 for stealing two crates of Fosters. He was also ordered to pay £85 costs and £20 victim surcharge.Tina Wilson, 45, of East Ella Drive, west Hull, was given three points on her driving licence and fined £93 for exceeding the 30mph speed limit. She was also ordered to pay £85 costs and a £20 victim surcharge.Alan Young, 30, of Willerby, was given six points on his driving licence and fined £600 for failing to give information relating to the identification of a driver. He was also ordered to pay £85 costs and a £60 victim surcharge.Mohammed Younus, 54, of Vane Street, west Hull, was given four points on his driving licence and fined £77 for exceeding the 30mph speed limit.
