MOTORISTS are being warned of a number of road closures when the Beverley 10k takes place on Sunday.
The annual event, organised by Beverley Athletic Club, will start at 11.15am.
Beverley Leisure Complex in Flemingate will be used as the assembly point.
Runners will then make their way to the starting line, which is in Eastgate.
The race will finish in Wednesday Market.
A number of roads will be closed to vehicles at some point during the day. These include Wednesday Market, Flemingate, Eastgate, Lairgate and Lord Roberts Road.
From 11am to 1pm, Champney Road will be closed to vehicles from the crossroads at Cross Street and Lord Roberts Road to the junction with Lairgate.
North Bar Within, North Bar Without, York Road, Newbald Road, Mill Lane, Keldgate Road, Walkington Road, Westwood Road, Old Waste, Saturday Market, Toll Gavel and Butcher Row will also be affected.
Beverley Athletic Club will provide stewards and marshals and traffic management.
All road closures will be lifted once all the competitors have cleared the area.
