A person has been injured after a crash between a car and a motorbike in Holderness Road this morning.
The accident happened near the junction of Durham Street at around 7.30am as school children and commuters waited at nearby bus stops.
Two ambulances raced to the scene and the injured person was lifted onto a stretcher before being taken to Hull Royal Infirmary. The extent of their injuries is not yet known.
Humberside Police were called out as traffic began to build up in both directions while the emergency services dealt with the aftermath of the crash. The road remains open to traffic.
