Our daily blog with the latest news, transfer rumours and gossip about Hull City in the Premier League.ASTON Villa are looking deep in relegation trouble, and striker Gabby Agbonlahor knows the pressure is on going into the survival showdown against the Tigers on Saturday – but insists Villa won't shy away from it. Agbonlahor, the club's longest-serving player, reckons Saturday's game with the Tigers ranks among the most important of his time at the club. Three points against the FA Cup finalists would see Villa over the finish line to Barclays Premier League safety. And Agbonlahor is backing the squad to rise to the occasion and ease any tension around Villa Park. "We're not going to hide away from it," the 27-year-old told the club's official website. "Every player in the squad knows that it is a massive game. "There is a lot of pressure on the game but we have got experienced players in there and hopefully everyone will rise to the occasion and get the result. "It could be the biggest game of all of our careers so far because of what is at stake. "To keep a club the size of Aston Villa in the Premier League is a massive thing. "We know we've been up and down and inconsistent as a team but at this stage of the season you've just got to try and get the points on the board. Form goes out of the window now." Agbonlahor doesn't want his Villa side to go easy on the Tigers, even if they have the FA Cup Final at the back of their minds. "We can't afford to think that because of the FA Cup they will be a less strong side. "They are going to want to beat us when they come to Villa Park. We've got to treat it like a cup game and give 100 per cent. "They are a hardworking team. Steve Bruce has got them playing good football and they are getting results at the right time. "All the teams down at the bottom now are trying to get good results rather than focus on playing well."Amalfitano yet to make his mind up Tigers target Morgan Amalfitano has reiterated he hasn't made his mind up where he will play next season – but it won't be West Brom. The Baggies did not make the French midfielder's loan deal permanent by March 31.Everton, West Ham, Fulham and Seville are also interested, but a year remains on his contract with Marseille. "I will take care of my future at the end of the season," Amalfitano told the Daily Mirror. "I really don't know where I will play next season. "I have found what I was looking for. This experience has been enriching for me professionally and my family."Cruttwell to come on Tigers trialThe Daily Star are reporting that the Tigers are taking non-league Hastings United defender Sam Cruttwell, 17, on trial. Following in the footsteps of signing Folkestone Invicta's Johan Ter Horst, City hope to unearth another gem within the lower divisions. Cruttwell is expected to link up with the Tigers soon.Like us on Facebook or follow us on Twitter.
